You are a little, but your young and can lose it a lot faster than all of us old people can! Start trying to tone up your muscles, drink lots of ice water, and get a fun new hobby such as biking, swimming, rollerblading, walking. Choose something that is easy to do everyday and that you'll look forward to doing. If your not used to doing this, it's hard to get started, but do it for like 21 days straight and it will be a habit. Pretty soon you'll look forward to doing it because it's nice to be fit. Also, it will give you a great outlook on life, because for some reason, people who work out regularly just don't seem to get depressed as often or as severely as people who don't exercise. If you need encouragement, ask a friend to walk with you, etc. Good luck and have fun!

it all depends, how active are u??? because, i have friends who are extremely active and weigh almost 200 lbs, and they are 15!!! but, w/ ur height, and age, u do sound a bit overweight--however, it all depends on how active u are, and whether u r muscular (u should be able to determine that) have a glass of green tea in the morning, do some crunches, and dont eat after dinner, and u'll be fine,
the green tea boasts ur metabolism, causing u to lose weight
hope that helps, and even if ur a little over weight, WHO CARES--just have fun when working out, like playing a sport or something, and if ur occupied most of the time, u wont think or care if ur overweight, and end up LOSING weight obviously NO FAST FOOD, except maybe Taco Bell they have pretty healthy stuff compared to other places good luck

No, you're not over weight, but you're not at a healthy weight. If you gained much more weight you could put yourself at risk for serious health problems like diabetes or it could lead to heart problems when you're older. Just make sure you're eating right and exercise, (like a 30min walk), about 3 days a week and you'll be fine. You may not lose a lot of weight, but you'll feel great!

It depends on your build. According to the charts, I'd say you probably are. Increase your activity.
Check with your doctor. At 13, you may still have a growth spurt and lose a lot of weight.

I think you are a little over weight. Of course it depends on your body type. Find a BMI (body mass index) calculator on the internet. This will tell you where your range is and if you are within normal or not.

The answer is probably obvious to yourself.
You either want others to tell you that medically, for your height, that weight is classified as obese. (http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/)
http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Result.aspx?&dob=2/26/1993&dom=8/26/2006&age=162&ht=66.5&wt=170&gender=2&method=0&inchtext=1/2&wttext=0
Or, you want others to say you're just fine the way you are.
Take your pick. Both answers will be presented to you.

Do a search on the net for "healthy weight range" and you'll find links to sites where you can input your height and frame size to see what your healthy weight range is.
