I constantly feel like I'm totally dehydrated, even though I drink AT LEAST 1000ml (1 litre) each day. I've been tested many times for diabetes, it always comes back negative. What else can it be? The only regular meds I'm on is bc.

Symptoms, as requested: dry mouth, dry lips, dry throat, thirsty

This has been going on for quite a long time, it's not just something new...but something I thought I might ask about!

Everyone that I know that had the same problem was all diagnosed with ether diabetes or hypoglycemia ( witch turns into diabetes years and I do mean years later only if you follow a proper diet and keep testing your glucose level with a monitor.

What is the feeling that you have that you are dehydrated? You may have SIADH; syndrome Inappropriate Anti-diuretic hormone, which may cause you to retain water, thus lowering your sodium and levels, but keeping your potassium levels steady. You can actually get intoxicated by having too much water in your system. Have you had your electrolyte levels checked? Or, have you seen an endocrinologist? One such condition, congenital or acquired adrenal hyperplasia, either non-classical or classical, may cause you to feel dehydrated.

There are many possible causes for your feeling. I would persist with finding a physician that takes you seriously, to get to the bottom of the problem. It may be more serious than you think. SIADH can cause you to start vomiting when your sodium level gets to 112 or 115 (normal is 135 to 145), and then getting you back to normal should be gradual; sudden infusion of electrolytes can cause major problems.

,. I don't know where you live , but 1 liter of water is not very much. you should drink twice that amount, and in dry climates like Denver, even more than that

Drink things without sugar. Try more water and things with electrolytes.
If this isn't helping, have your kidneys tested. And your thyroid.
