There is an old trucker saying
" It's the one you Don't see that's gonna get ya"
Practise those observation skills everyday no matter what you are doing sports, school, work, look everywhere all the time or least as much as you can........if you do this regularly you'll see a lot of stuff others miss.
Anytime I didn't follow that "gut feeling" I usually regret it.

well, you could be a stupid one, and keep putting yourself in the same dangerous situation until your mind realizes that hey...maybe I shouldnt be doing this. No..really...expierence and common sense are the best bets to avoiding danger. If something feels like it is not right, or that it will hurt...chances are those feelings are correct.

Listen to that little voice in the back of your head thats telling you "something's not right." I have found that its usually right.
