Christians, where then is heaven? Man has landed on the moon 250 thousand miles away and has explored the solar system, with millions of kilometers covered, yet Heaven remains elusive. Who is fooling who?.

Heaven is in a parallel Universe.

According to Genesis, the sky is a solid dome, called the firmament. Attached to it are the sun, the moon, and a couple thousand little lights known as stars. Five of those little lights are called 'planets', which means 'wandering stars'.

You are obviously mistaken about men landing on the moon... it is way too small for a man to stand on it... and all this talk of 'thousands of kilometers' is just plain silly. The sky is no higher than a few kilometers up, if that... remember, god got all whacked out of shape when they started to build the Tower of Babel to reach Heaven (which is right on the other side of the sky). Why would god have been so worried and upset, unless Heaven was within the reach of the tower builders?

Anyway... considering all that, it is pain to see that the angels would have plenty of air in which to flap their wings, and breathe, if they decided to fly around on this side of the firmament... and there is really no reason to think that there isn't air in heaven, too, right on the other side. But remember... they can be invisible if the want to be, so we'd never know. I don't think god needs air to breathe... and he can probably fly without wings, just like Superman; he's pretty special, you know.

How do you know? If we can proove a spirit how do we know a "spirit" exists? the answer is we don't so why persist in delusion.

"Sorry guy they don't need air to breath. Told you before.
They are not flesh and blood. They are spirit creatures and they fly. Just because they are invisible they could be standing beside you and you couldn't see them. They probably pasted hundreds of them."

Dawn, proove their existence. If you can't and science can't then why believe?

"Sorry. Faith in the unknown, unseen and un-understood is beyond your earthly capacity. God knows all the secrets, He created them. Too bad He chose not to reveal them to you. Science is what you make of it, no?"

Johnny P we know you're sorry, now apologize. Faith is an intangible thought of delusion in the minds of many. I'm sure you believe that God created man and that man didn't evolve from apes. Well then why exactly do the human species shave??
It was'nt God not choosing to not reveal secrets to him, it was simply him not accepting the unproven supernatural.
Science is what we make of it, and is also the most rationally, logically, reasonably explanation of things, if it wasnt it would have died off long ago. Much like when the Xians tried to burn all the science and philosophy books. That created the dark ages, which set the human race back 500 years in technology.

Science is what you make of it, but then again so is religion.
Beleive and Be burned.......or live a good life and carry on the human species without fear? I'll take the latter....

Good luck with Hope, Faith and Prayer. I'll believe in Rationality, Logical Explanations, and Reasoning.

Any excuse at all will do for some people.

Surely no one in all history but the most simple of simpletons has actually believed that the Heaven of God and the angels is hovering above our heads just above the clouds! Even stone age men can look up in the sky and see that Heaven is not there. Equating Heaven with the heavens is a general statement that Heaven might be up *somewhere* between here and the edge of eternity or it is purely metaphorical, depending on the specific belief system in question.

Angels are composed of pure energy, and wouldn't need air to live.
The nature of God is unknown, and we can't put Him into human terms.
Heaven isn't elusive, it's attainable by those who follow God's will. Heaven may be another dimension, that we can't currently 'see' and not a place in the sky.
Who's fooling who? You don't believe, or don't understand? You feel it's a myth? You must want answers, because you're asking. Keep searching....... it's a lifelong process. The answer is within you, not from one of us.

I would say you're fooling yourself. Why would angels and God need air to fly. As you pointed out "man" has landed on the moon. How did he get there? Astral travel? And what was he breathing on the way?
But this is getting off the point. Angels and God are non physical beings with personalities. They are not earthbound so they wouldn't need earthly requirements. Why am I even talking to you?

Jesus is preparing the heaven for us. Do you have some kind of secret knowledge about what angels and God breath?Who is the fool here. Remember, God doesn't have the same physical limits as we have.

Here we can dive to the water and maybe even swim with the dolpins..in heaven we do not need to hold our breath under the water.

There are very powerful telescopes that have seen places in the universe that are "light years" away, and look amazing with different bright colors, as if it is a galaxy like ours. Angels are invisible beings like the poltergeist, their physical properties are beyond the comprehension of man, they don't need air to breathe and fly, because they are not made out of organic matter.

Heaven is really an 'idealized' place. However, if I were to believe in it, I would say that gawd has the power to have Heaven reserved in a place in a different dimension from here. After all, if the sci-fi dudes can come up with all kinds of transit theories, why not the xian dudes?

Wow. You're about 40 years behind Communist Russia. They tried to disprove the idea of "heaven" with their space program back in the 50's and 60's. Hey, it's 2006 already. Get caught up, dude!

Christians don't believe that Heaven is "in space". More properly, it would be considered another universe outside of our own, perhaps surrounding our own, or another dimension entirely.

You had to ask about this? Who have you been talking to: the First United Church of the Flat Earth Society?
