I got attacked by a maniac squirrell today (no for real) and she went and attacked the evil demented squirrel I'm so proud of her!! what has your cat done before that you were proud of?

my cat got between me and a rattlesnake. i had heard that cats could charm snakes, but had never really thought about it. it's true. he started swaying back and forth at the snake. the snake was coiled up and ready to strike. my cat kept swaying and started backing up when i got on the porch. the snake never tried to bite my cat. it was very scary and amazing at the same time. not something i ever want to go through again. i ran out and picked him up when he got close enough to me. my husband killed the snake and all is well.

We haven't had our cats for a real long time, so I'm sure they'll do more to make me proud in the years to come....but for now, I'm happy that they help keep the bug population down in my home, lol. They either kill the bugs themselves....or alert me to their presence. How do they alert me to their presence? Well, if I see my cats sitting and staring at a certain spot on the floor, wall, or ceiling, I know something's up....lol.
