Would I have to give up flirting with trashy women,getting a buzz,eating BBQ pork,I can't get on my knees to pray I have arthritis.I love god, he knows that already .Why is being a christian not good enough?

You can pray to God while sitting, if you have such a physical handicap. Giving up flirting with women and getting a buzz would give you the immense spiritual (mental) joys of self-restraint, if you but knew. If you knew how filthy pigs are and how they are against Jewish and Christian doctrine, then you wouldn't want to eat them. Many people don't eat pigs, for the same reasons why they don't eat rats.

Will this white pig stop all that stuff if he converts to islam ??? Whatever he does now is because may be he wants it or likes it or just does it. How is a religion going to change all his habbits or vocations??? If he was so religion-abiding, why cant he do it now as whatever he is??? Which religion accepts that rubbish??? Religion can never be an answer to anything unless an individual realizes the real essense of life.

The reason someone would convert religions is because they believe in the morals and values of that religion. And about the praying and pork thing, there are different levels of commitment to every religion. Not everyone prays and some eat pork.

Maybe because he realizes that the BBQ is killing him with hormones and antibiotics, the trashy women have lost all respect for humanity as they themselves have been treated like slaves with no place, and his knees are bad from drinking the poisoned crap called food, that the Christian churches have sold out true spirituality in exchange for the building fund, and that Islam at least has enough self-respect to fight for themselves and among themselves. The 'rich western white boy' has become too enthralled with himself, his pseudopatriotism, his consumption, and his 'free' broadcast news corporatist propaganda to even question whether his job is killing his children with fire retardants in his wife's breast milk.

Uh, I'm a little confused. Are you talking about yourself? From what i know about Islam the religion is that there is a certain amount of discipline involved and it sounds like you don't want it that bad. Who says being christian isn't good enough?

Christianity does not promise 40 virgins in the afterlife if you blow yourself up in a crowded restaruant killing innocent people.
Neither does real Islam, but many of the wacko, terrorist who use Islam as a cover believe this.
Perhaps the rich western white boy just want a few virgins in the after life.

It's a religion. All religions have their draw, based on beliefs and practices, and who else the person knows that's participating.
Why is one religion inherently any better or worse than any other? Should the decision always be up to the individual what to believe?

well, for one thing, u dont have to get on ur knees to pray. there are obligations for every situation. if a persons whole body is paralyzed, the can pray with their eyes, sounds weird huh. but well, it gives u a good reason not to skip ur prayers.
