The eyebrow is a bony ridge above the eye that protects the eye and bears a tuft of facial hair in most mammals. The main function of the eyebrows is to prevent moisture (mostly sweat and rain) from dripping into the eye (a critical organ). The typical curved shape of the eyebrow (with a slant on the side) and the direction in which eyebrow hairs are pointed, make sure that moisture has a tendency to flow sideways of the eyes, mainly along the side of the head but also along the nose. The protruding brow ridges of modern humans could also still play a role in this process. Eyebrows also prevent debris such as dandruff and other small objects from falling into the eyes, as well as providing a more sensitive sense for detecting objects being near the eye, like insects. Eyebrows also have a facilitary function in communication, strengthening expressions like amazement or anger.

We have eyebrows because if we didn't, we would look like Mona Lisa, part male and part female. The absence of the eyebrows makes her look like a male. Eyebrows serve as an addition to our natural beauty. Eyebrows also prevent sweat from dripping to your eyes because when the sweat contacts with the eyebrows, our eyebrows absorbs it and that's why our eyebrows feel wet after a hard day at work or whatever you're doing.

millions of years ago, before humans were around, animals that later evovled into humans had hair all over. Nowadays, most of that hair is gone, but we still have 2 stirps of hair on top of our eyes (eyebrows) for protection from things like rain, snow, or any other kind of muck that could get in your eyes

Eyebrows are to help protect your eyes along with the eye lashes. Makes sense doesn't it? God knew exactly what he was doing when he made us.

I think they can keep debris from above out of your eyes.
For example...you're really wet, you get out of the pool. Water drips down your forehead and stops at: your eyebrows.
