personally I do like them, The Kill is a great tune with elements of Coheed and Cambria and Dishwalla in it... but I do however think due to Jared's "fame" they are going to be a flash in the pan...but that's just my opinion... ;o)

ps. Dog*star were pretty good... nobody recognised Keanu 'til after Point Break .. he's a pretty decent bassist (c/o Mtv expose).. even I was shocked...

OMG!!! I LOVE their "The Kill" video! and Jared is such a hottie!!! I had no idea that was him! REALLY! I LOVE their music! NOT EVEN COMPARED to Dogstar! I'm sorry, I LOVE Keanu as much as the next girl, but I think that he should just stick to acting. And it's not just the front man! I mean, it takes more than a cute face to put out AMAZING music! EVERYONE in the band makes up for the amazing sounds! I can't get enuf of "the kill"! I downloaded their music and it's all I listen too...now-a-days!...along w/ Angels & Airwaves (Tom Delonge & Travis Barker's new band), Panic! at the Disco, Matchbook Romance...etc.!
As long as they're putting out inredible music they'll have NO PROBLEM making it big. I don't think I've seen Dogstar blow up...in a good way...haev you?

um - 30 Seconds are actually good!!! Dogstar did not have as much talent
i dont think Jareds "other" career has that much of an impact on the band - they ROCK and that will get them the credit they deserve in the industry - regardless of weather or not the lead singer is hot - which he SO is!!!!!!!

Yeah. Jared and his band are surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting the solid lyrics, music, and clean production values. My favorite songs are The Kill, The Attack, End of the Beginning, and The Mission.

Jared is a beautiful talented man and I believe they will go as far as he is willing to take them... He does seem a bit arrogant though? Probably because there are (and probably always have been) people surrounding him telling him so... Cameron Diaz is an idiot for leaving him for Justin Timberlake!
But enough about this bullcrap... There is a war going on you know?

i have the cd, never listened to it, but their video was all over mtv and their album has sold almost 350K so they are pretty big considering this is their first effort. paris hilton's album had a top 5 debut a few weeks ago. of course it is possible for celebs to make it big, but they have a head start of course.

I think they're really good I've been looking everywhere for their album. and yeah it's possible for them to make it big in the music industry because it's only talent that counts.

I know who they are, I live in buffalo and our rock station 103.3 the edge plays them a fair amount. I think they are good and I think that they can make it. The Kill is an excellent song.

I did remember the name and was curious so I went to vh1.com and watched their videos. He has a great voice. It was interesting videos as well. I understand that Jared has quite a good acting career as well. I like them. Kuddo's from me. Thanks
