First of all, suntanning has been proven to be a cause of cancer.

Secondly, you should save the tanning until your white spots are older. If you accidentally burn them now (and that would not take long in the sun) you will always have the scars. If you wait they will begin to face as they are gradually exposed and get older.

Why not try the spray-ons that the movie stars and TV personalitites use?

Many adolescents who have had chickenpox worry about the scars which remain after the infection. The good news is that the scars will gradually blend in with the surrounding skin - over a couple of years. Skin is one of a few body parts which can regenerate, others are the liver and digestive tract.

Don't worry about getting a suntan. You may have noticed after getting a suntan, a few weeks later your skin returns to its original color. Again, skin regenerates. Old skin slough off and new skin forms under it.

Any new scars, need to avoid sunlight and tanning for 1 year, or they can darken...
This is suggested for surgical scars, etc....
And, you may always have those white marks on your skin, but at least they won't darken.

You shouldn't tan anyway. It makes you look old earlier and can lead to skin cancer...

They are already scars. You will tan, but not the scar.
