I think there isn't just one soul mate. We have been around this planet long enough to have found many throughout the years. I am lucky, I have found mine, again, this time. :-) We will have the rest of this lifetime together, and hopefully we will find each other again soon. :-D
If you are searching, I have advice - 1) don't search. Date, enjoy meeting others, don't keep an agenda, but also, don't settle for less than what is perfect for you. 2) You will meet the love of your life in a place and time when you least expect it. Always be open to the opportunity.

I hope so it keeps the hope alive for us singletons. I think though that we sometimes fall in love with the idea and the concept of this one person, (Mr. Darcy in many cases) sweeping us off our feet running in slow motion on the beach and everything is perfect, just like in the movie.
But a lot of us don't realise that even when we've found 'mr.right' it requires compromise, respect and understanding to result in a soul mate.
And even then sometimes it doesn't work out, but a girl can dream right?

Yes I would have to believe that there is soul mate for everyone. But finding that person is the hardest part, but when you find them you feel like a complete person.
I have one heard a story, where people are splitted into two parts spiritually, the other half would be your soulmate. We wonder the earth trying to find the other half to be a complete soul.
It like what they say two hearts bind into one soul.....remember you vows when you get married.....

I found mine! But in another time and place it would have worked out, we both had other people to consider and a lot of other things to take into consideration, i feel now that i have lost my best friend, my lover, my confidante, the person that makes me smile, who brings me up when i am down, the person who will tell me when i am being a prat! In short i have lost my right arm!

I think that God has the plan laid out for us, and who we end up with is not by chance. I believe that who I spend my life with will be who God has created just for me, yes, my soul mate.

I believe that everyone who was intended to find love has a soulmate. I can't say that everyone does because some people never find a mate/spouse.
