Dianic Tradition. A Pagan path... though in ancient times wasn't at all about female supremacy. The Modern path, though, seems to draw those that are all for female supremacy and enforces it within their ranks. Yes, there are men who join this sect, but they seem to be ones who enjoy submitting to women, rather than being an equal within the religion. I know certain groups within this tradition are mainly lesbian and refuse admission of men at any time.

It is said that men and women takes turns being in power on our world. the last time women were in power. There were women
who were noble and treated men as equals. The majority of
women could care less about men, just like today. And then
there was the Amazon society. They killed the males and only
saved enough for breeders and slaves.
Just thought you might be interested to know that. Many
of the struggles we go through today are Karma. But we
make choices in the here and now too.
There are still matriarchal societies today. Mostly Native
peoples. I believe in Egypt the women own the land, not the men.
Check into Egyptian beliefs.

Beloved sister, much to our shame it is true that many of the major religions (my own included) have historically treated women shodily. Even still this continues, again to our shame. However, there are redeming attitudes to women in all of them. An example from Judaism would be that a person can only be born Jewish is, and only is, their mother is Jewish. Further to this women are exempted from laws that tie them to time and on a humorous note baby girls are not subjected to the mitzvah brit'milah.

In recorded history there is no record of such a religion. The ancient Ashtaroth comes close, being a mother-child diety, but that's not what you are asking.

EXEMPTIONS GIVEN TO WOMEN IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCE.
Women are exempt from:
a.. Fasting when they are pregnant or nursing or menstruating,
b.. Praying when menstruating or bleeding after childbirth,
c.. The obligation to attend congregational prayers in the mosque on Fridays.
d.. They are not obliged to take part as soldiers in the defense of Islam, although they are not forbidden to do so.
But under normal circumstances they are allowed to do all the things that men do.
- Even when they are menstruating, on special days, like the two Eid festivals, they are still allowed to come to the Eid prayers, and menstruating women can take part in most of the actions of the Hajj pilgrimage.
Islamic laws does not requires that women should confine themselves to household duties.
Muslim women have [and are as well] headed Islamic provinces [and states as well], like Arwa bint Ahmad, who served as governor of Yemen under the Fatimid Khalifahs in the late fifth and early sixth century.
Name any other religion, political theory, or philosophy which offers such a comprehensiveness to women by giving her total control of her life and affairs ??? NONE
