according to Dan 8:14 the 2300 days(years) ended in 1844,since the starting date for this prophecy is 457 bc according to Ezra 7. so if the sanctuary is to be cleansed (day of atonement)at the end of the 2300 days that means Jesus has moved into the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Where he is now investigating the characters of his professed people,to see who is acceptable to be received into His Kingdom. Please read Lev 4 and Lev 16 to understand the sanctuary types.

We no longer need an earthly intercessor --- as in the priests.

The curtain was torn that seperated the Holy from the Most Holy.
We can now come boldly before the throne of God. I think I am doing this .... or did I misunderstand your question?

That is what Ellen White (the founder of seventh day Adventist)said. Called investigative judgment but of course that is bogus. It was an attempt to cover up the failed prophesies of the millerites that predicted the return of Christ on three different occasions. The Millerites broke up and Ellen White formed her own religion and suggested that Jesus moved from the sanctuary into the Most Holy Place so that the Millerites were close but misunderstood the prophesies. Another person who was a part of the Millerites was Charles Taze Russel who went on to form the Jehovah Witness cult.

Jesus is the High Priest who atoned for the sins of those who believe. We are positionally have access to the throne room of grace but will not be in his presence until after we had died in this body and are raised up in glorified bodies to live forever with the Lord.

Actually, your off by about 70 years or so, at least when I added it up. Also, Christs new sanctuary is mentioned in Revelation, in the New Jerusalam, which is "metaphorical" since it would literally be too large to sit upon a round or "oblate" earth. The corners of the city would actually rock back and forth over the horizon. So, the New Jerusalam will rule from Heaven with Christ as its King and High Priest.

We are not priests as yet and certainly not in a place we can go into the Most Holy Place. the Priest that did that was to be cleansed of all sin before he went in and he wore bells on the bottom of his robe as well as ropes so he could be pulled out if he should be struck dead. So one reason we cannot just follow Him in is that He is perfect and takes our place there as the priest in the old times did for the people. Jesus is doing the deciding what people will be going back with Him when He comes for us and which will not. That is something only He can do as we do not know one anothers heart but He does. At this point, we cannot just amble in to the Most Holy Place or we would be struck dead as it is a perfect place that God's presence is also. WHen Jesus comes back for us, then we will be able to go into the Most Holy Place.

The Most Holy of Hollies was opened up when Jesus died on the Cross. The curtain was ripped from top to bottom. That meant that all the people could go in to worship Him.

Because you are reading from the OLD TESTAMENT not the NEW TESTAMENT. and confusing the two books.
The scriptures you quoit were made before the Name of Jesus was even mentioned in the Bible.
IF Jesus has to investigate our characters then all HE needs to do is read them from the BOOK OF LIFE. Which would make HIM a very poor Diety to Judge others SOULS.
JESUS and our souls were made by the CREATOR who is also part of everything and writes the BOOK OF LIFE.

I'm sorry. That one is a little deep for me. However, the bible says that after Jesus ascended, he is now sitting at the right hand of the Father and is the mediator between man and God. He does not need to investigate the characters of his professed people as our character has nothing to do with salvation, it is our faith based on what he did on the cross and his ressurection. Nothing to do with us, it is all Him. He did it all.

Considering the fact that Jesus is the appointed judge of all mankind, that each of us is judged immediately after death, and that judgment is likely taking place as I write this, it sounds like scripture hit this one right on the head.
