It might be what you're eating. A lot of people don't get enough oil in their diet, and people who have dry frizzy hair usually need more oil. You can buy flax seed oil at the health-food store. It comes refrigerated, and for dry hair you should take at least 2 tablespoons a day. Also, try putting olive oil on your salads and vegetables, dipping bread in it for a snack. Nuts like almonds and walnuts have a lot of oil too. Aveda makes great all-natural hair products. Their anti-humectant pomade is good for dry, frizzy hair. You can also give yourself a home hot-oil treatment. Just rub about a half cup of warm olive oil through damp or dry hair, cover it in a plastic hair cap and keep it on overnight. Just wash it out in the morning with a little shampoo. Also, sometimes it's better to let dry hair go a day or more without shampooing, as daily shampooing tends to dry out hair.

Wash your hair clean and dry thoroughly. At night before going to bed, apply a thick coat of mayo to your hair and cover with a shower cap. Do this every other night for one month, and then once a week.
My hair used to get really, really, dry and frizzy. I have been using this remedy for years. And if you blow dry or use a curling iron, go to a beauty store and they have products that will help with the heat.
Also, get your hair trimmed every 3-4 weeks. It will keep your hair growing healthy.

You need to look at some of the things you are using.....alot of gels have alcohol in them and will dry out your hair and flat irons will do the same heat like that isn't good. If you already have dry hair these things do not help.

How often do you wash it? I wash my hair two sometimes three times a week. This allows natural oils to condition your hair. When you do wash your hair wash your hair, rinse then put conditioner in it. Let the conditioner set in your hair while you wash the rest of your body. After you are done washing your body rinse the conditioner out. This will not only help you with dry, frizzy hair it also helps keep the split ends away!

Use hot oil as a conditoner about once a week. I know this will sound nuts but use spray starch if you heat style.
The kind you use for clothes. It will not dry out your hair. You can also mix a small amount of gel with it to add to the hold.
It works

If you aren't deficient in vitamins or fatty acids, why not deep condition with a cholesterol conditioner. Works wonders for the hair.

well use conditioner when you shower, and try showering every single night or morning or whatever. Don't put products in it right after you shower. Try blow drying it then straightening it. Hope that helps.
