On the subject of generics and brand name: they can supposedly be the same but they have the potential to respond differently in your body. I take some other type of generic medication and even if they switch the company that makes it I have a heads up that I may experience some changes myself. I learned this many years ago. If the brand name settled well with you by all means get back on it or try to adjust to the generic if you want to change. I stick with generics whenever I can because they are so much cheaper in price.

I take the generic brand of Zoloft - Xydep (spelling?). I haven't had any problems with it. They have the same ingredients as Zoloft so maybe the migraines and the sleepiness are caused from something else, especially if you are stressed about anything. Maybe have a chat with your doctor. Good luck

no, i don't know about the generic kind, but I'm in the same boat. i just got my prescription filled and usually they give me the brand name. this time they gave me generic, I've been taking the generic for about a week. it's also giving me headaches, and doesn't feel like it's working. don't know what to tell you.
