In the book of 1 Corinthians we are warned to "Flee sexual immorality" and that "know you not that when you lie with a woman you leave a piece of yourself with her?"

It's true!

Oxytocin, known as the human bonding chemical is said to be 10 times higher in women than men and that the only time a man has equal amounts of this chemical is after having sex.

Hence why "make up sex" is important for men because it helps them bond with their wife after an argument.

Studies show that bad relationships may affect our ability to be able to produce this chemical (i.e. trust issues) and that by having sex with someone outside of marriage causes you to bond more with them than with your husband/wife.

Once again, science has proven the Bible right.

Here are a few links that discuss this further regarding thermodynamics, physics, medicine, etc.

It's amazing how many anti-Christs there are.

Tofu Jesus - when it comes to the Bible and finding where the atheist, anti-Christ, mud-slinging, non-believers' research in trying to disprove God very existence fails.....

I will never be humble.

I am not taking pride in myself or my own works but in God and His word and works.

I pray I will always be ready, able and willing to stand up for God.

I will not be quiet and I WILL NOT BE ASHAMED OF GOD.

I'll shout God's word from the rooftops if that's what it takes to testify that God is great.

R. Mark Garrett - I notice in spite of your long explanation on the 2nd law of Thermodynamics that you still weren't able to dispute the correlation that the 2nd law, ALSO commonly known as the Law of Increased Entropy; states that when used, (changed) the quality of matter/energy deteriorates gradually over time.

Or, that when you use something it will wear out; just as it says in Isaiah 51:6, Psalms 102:26, and Hebrews 1:11

Well, that's all great... but the Egyptians had this down before the Bible was EVER put to paper (or papyrus, as the case may be). And fleeing sexual immorality has nothing to do with oxytocin. It's the same with ANY woman a man sleeps with... Bonding with a wife takes more than just the sex... it takes Emotion as well. Having sex outside of marriage does not cause a man to bond MORE or LESS with the person. LOL He has to have the emotion in there first. He can end up sleeping with 10 women outside of marriage and not have the same bond with any of them. The chemical oxytocin alone does NOT do this bonding.

FORNICATION is SIN Lasciviousness is SIN Look up those definitions and see it is indeed SIN and WRONG !!! lasciviousness appears 6 times in 6 verses in the bible Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, fornication occurs 36 times in 32 verses Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 1Cr 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

I'll just take the religionists' intentionally fraudulent misrepresentation of the second law of thermodynamics:

First of all the 2nd law of thermodynamics merely states that heat will not spontaneously flow from a colder body to a warmer one, or equivalently that total entropy , a measure of useful energy, in a closed system will not decrease. This does not prevent increassing order, or evolution, because:

1. the earth is not a closed system; sunlight with low entropy shines on it and heat with higher entropy radiates off of it. This flow of energy, and the change in entropy that accompanies it, can and will power local decreases in entropy on earth.
2. entropy is no the same as disorder. Sometimes the two correspond, but sometimes order increases as entropy increases (Aranda-Espinoza et al 1999, Kestenbaum 1998). Entropy can even be used to produce order, such as the sorting of molecules by size (Han and Craighead 2000).
3. even in a closed system , pockets of lower entropy can form if they are offset by increased entropy elsewhere in the system.

In short, order from disorder happens on earth all the time. The only processes necessary for evolution to ccur are reproduction, heritable variation, and selection. All of these are seen to happen all the time, so obviously, no physical laws are preventing them. In fact connections between entropy and evolution have been studied in depth, and never to the detriment of evolution (Demetrius 2000).

Creationists themselves admit that increasing order is possible by introducing fictional exceptions to the law to account for it such as when creationist Morris invents the fictional temporary and local appearance of a program to direct growth and a power converter (i.e. a God made miracle). And they contradict themselves by inventing hydrological fossil sorting after the great flood to account for age related layering.

You can see order come and go in simple things like snow flakes, ice crystals, dust devils, ripples in sand dunes, eddies and whirlpools in streams.

Take a physics class. Put up your "sword" and get out your reading gflasses and read a basic high school textbook. Christian apologetics is neither objective nor scientific.

Great post though a question it is not. Far better to write the same and at the end ask for the name of Oxy as a question.

Science has not proven the bible right. You just took a passage of scripture and applied your own meaning to it. Relax, though; it's not any different than any other Christian interpreting the bible to meet their own personal needs. This doesn't make you smart or logical, it just means that you fit right in with the rest of the sheep.

In high school, I was not promiscuous. I tried to be, believe me! It wasn't until college that I could be with many different women, and I cheated and hurt a few of them.

When I met my wife, however, she was the first one worth giving all of myself to. We did not have a Christian wedding, and we did not make Christian vows, and it was not in a church. But I made a promise to her as she did to me, and that's good enough for both of us. We are living for each other and don't need Christianity to enforce our commitment.

Explain that one with your magic book!

Wow!
Bad science and bad religion, all in one package!
Not only don't the studies mean what you think they do, they are not even definitive!
But, even if they were, all this means is that chemical balances change before, during, and after sex. Which we've known since slightly after we knew the chemicals existed!
This science bears no relation to your religion, and trying to twist it so that it does just shows that you do not have true faith.
May God forgive you.

I disagree with your hypothesis. However, I do believe that adultery and promiscuity are sexual sins. And I do thank God for His all encompassing love and forgiveness.

Jesus says, "Humble yourself as the children"

Ghandi says, "Be more humble than the dust"
