so i used to really like this guy, but then i realized that he is shallow and only cares about what people are on the outside. he acts so fake, and it really makes me mad. i used to think that he liked me too, because he'd be looking at me a lot, and he still does it. but then i realized that he's popular, and i'm not that social, meaning i don't hang out with the popular squad. last year i thought that he liked me, since he figured out my name without me telling him. i thought i liked him this year, but i've realized that i probably don't. we have a class together and there's 3 popular girls in it from his group. he didn't even say hi to me this year and doesn't talk to me. but when those girls aren't looking, i can see him looking at me. i'm not really sure what he wants right now. what should i do?

Maria, Out of my High School experience this guy wants nothing but sex, You say you found out he was shallow, and like the outer appearance more than the inner, Now this is a problem, to me the outer and the inner should be balanced and not ever crossed. I hear all these stories of how "He is in 3 of my classes but chances are he wouldn't know the stats to that or if he did he only knows that because he is using you for as my fiancee puts it "Eye Candy", Maria there are men out there who can treat you with the upmost love and respect, The fact that this guy is looking at girls and when they look away he looks at you shows you that he cannot be trusted chances are if you try to go any further with him in this "Crush" of innocence, he will look at others when you turn your head, Now I am not blabbering for no reason, I am telling you this because being a Graduate of 2005, I have seen too many girls have their hearts broken to pieces by a man they "wanted" Remember Maria, "Loves pencil that makes marks in your heart comes with an eraser, and the story of your romance can be rewritten, long after the day you die." You should do something that is well known to sales and marketing people. It's called the "take away". Usually people want things more if they can't have it or it seems out of reach. He's got girls all over him, then fine. Don't be mean, just make sure he sees that you are aloof and not available. Works every time.

What grade are you in??? He's not worth your time if he's fake.. I mean come on.. U keep saying he popular blah blah blah... Who cares if he's popular.. If he doesn't want to go out with you just because you not social in school he's not worth your time.. Go find another guy who doesn't care about these childish crap...

If you are having doubts about whether you like him or not, you should move on to someone who you know you like and who likes you too. If he only pays attention to you when others are not around, then he is a "player". He probably does like you and he appears to like others too.
I personally would want someone who likes ME period, not looking at everyone else when I am with him. I like for someone to give me eye contact when we are talking. I am a people watcher, so it is ok with me for someone is looking at other people, not just women, but they need to give me their attention when we are talking.
