Yes they are mix race people in Russia. The former soviet union had people come to study in Russia and some stayed and married Russian women. How white Russian react to this I don't know.

There are very few black people in russia, most are straight from Africa, they have college programs connected with a lot of african families. In the South of russia, you also get more oriental people, and darker skined people.
But even with a much smaller amount of people of actual different colors, Russia is still a very racest place. They recognize all the different local cultures that live in russia, like kazak, chechen, chuvash, and the discriminate towards them. Clearly the ethnic russians, thoses in north, and from the moscow area, are the ones in power, and live that life even when they are in the minority (like in the south).

Yes, but not many. My cousin was working for red cross in Russia a few years ago and he had a black guy working with him and some of the kids had never seen a black person before, they where absolutely fascinated with him. Although it was a small village so there may be more black/mixed ppl in the big cities.

they have siberians and folks from the steepes of russia with oriental features like charles bronson and they hate each group equally they look down on chechneans and georgians even though they fight in their armies and they arent too kind to anyone not exactly like them not all folks are ignorant but some do and thats the same everywhere you go dont be a tutsi in a village of hutus see or a cathelic in northern ireland its universal to be ignorant and hate the interweb should help to bridge the gaps between folks i pray ,,an olde dude

One OF Russia's most famous authors was a Black man of African descent. His name is Alexander Pushkin, He was famous in his writings for uplifting the spirits of the Russian people.He was very proud of his African ancestry. He was married to a Russian woman'
There are many statues and museums and other honors in Russia under his name(Pushkin).Several African-Americans went to live in Russia (The Soviet Union) including the famous singer,movie actor and athlete Paul Robeson
(starred in the movie"Emperor Jones" ) to avoid discrimination in America.
