Personal grooming is not just vanity, it's a form of curtesy. By taking care of your nose hairs, you'll prevent people from concentrating on your pilosity while you are interacting with them and then, they can truly see the real you. Not just the hair.
Besides, I'm sure if a girl or a guy was talking to you and had lots of nose hair, you wouldn't find it appealing.

Yes that bugs when one sees hairs hanging out of Mens noses. I really never have seen a woman with hairs hanging out. lol
