YOu also need to reduce your body fat. If your body fat is high, you ain't gonna show 6-pack no matter how hard you crunch.

This is the best kind of "sit-up", because it doesn't damage your back in the long-run. gives excellent abs; fit legs are a plus:

lie on your back with your fingers laced behind your neck and your head bent forward so it's not touching the ground. Then bring right knee up to touch left elbow, while keeping left leg extended, but NOT touching the ground. Then straighten your right leg and bring your left up. keep doing reps, and get into a good rhythm, twisting your shoulders a bit to help you reach . Take breaks whenever you have to. do it every day, and wait and see

Yeah, it called going to the gym. Getting a personal trainer and do the hardest program they have. Then getting up the next and doing it again. The keep doing it the rest of your life. That's what I do. Life Time Fitness for those who don't belong to a country club. But the Country Club Trainers are incredible.

Sit ups, also swining your upper body side to side helps me loosen up the abs, and not feel as much strain when pumping out for a long while.

Crunches, crunches and more crunches. Forget the storebought gizmos, do it the old fashioned way.
