OK, so I know the normal answers for this question, but me and my g/f are planning on going to seperate colleges someday. I want to know if it can last. Is there trust? Yes, definately. Neither of us have ever gotten to "first base" yet, we are both very prude. Neither of us want sex or anything like that before marriage. Cheatign in my opinion is not an issue. The rlationship is based almost completely on personality and not physical things liek that. I hear that cheating is the #1 reason they don't last, and I want to know if we can stay together or not. Again, she will not cheat. I will not either, especially since I might not even be dorming, rather living with my family still.

We are both very mature, top ranked in our class. We are not the average couple that does all that physical crap...it's what I liek to call "real" love. Neither of us want that stuff, and I don't think we will anytime soon. What I want to know is if we can make it or not...

We will be about an hour or two away. She wants to go somewhere in NY, and Im in PA (Philadelphia area). It's no problem for me to drive up there and see her every weekend if I had to.

If the colleges are far away from each other, probably not.

Long distance relationships statistically do not work out.
Additionally, college life changes most people and the pressures of leaving home, academic responsibilities, and campus life leave little time for a relationship that is distant.
