mayhap you didnt know but the wainting adoption list is 2 times the size of the abortion, if they would loosen adoptions a bit then you really wouldnt need so many aboption agencies,
what right does a woman alone have to kill a kid?

Murder is already banned in all fifty states. Abortion is unconstitutional.

Okay. I am from South Dakota...and it is not the "coat hanger" state, by the way. The legislature has passed this ridiculous ban, but it is going to a public vote in November and with any luck it will not pass. I am not a fan of abortion, but I do believe that if a 15 year old girl is raped by her uncle or something, she does not deserve to have to carry that baby to term. The law would make her. That is not right.

I didn't know anyone had banned it yet. and no i would nt support it. i find it interesting how a small minority of the population in our country feels it is okay to tell everyone else how to live. they tell us that Gay's can't marry, they tell us that women do not have a say over our own bodies. Why is it that peoples personal opinions now create laws that restrict the freedom of everyone else to live how they want. I am a woman who wants to choose what happens to my body. I don't agree with abortion but i do agree that it should be your choice to have it or not. Being pro choice is just that, pro choice, it doesn't mean pro abortion. In some cases abortion is necessary and if i were ever raped or having the child could risk my or its life i would want that option. Besides getting rid of abortion won't stop it, it will just make women go to greater unsafer lengths to get one. Besides all these babies are not going to get adopted, or be loved by the women forced to have them. All that will happen is more poverty, and hatred as that child grows up and becomes a bad influence in society. So No i will never support banning abortion.

I am not supporting anything that causes death. This means while I am no fan of abortion, I am also not a fan of laws that result in women seeking illegal abortions that cause their deaths -- and that is what happens when it's not legal. There is no good solution here. In a perfect world. nobody would ever have a reason to want an abortion, but that's not our reality. I personally would never do it, but I thank whatever powers there are that my friends who have done it are still alive, whole and healthy because they were able to do it legally.

No. South Dakota has passed a law to ban abortion. The law is not valid, and cannot be enforced.
No state has the legal authority to just ignore federal law and Supreme Court precedent just because it feels like it.
And the govt shouldn't be enforcing religious morality on people agains their will.

No I think!
I believe abortion is abused and today's practice is not what I voted for. I thought it was to protect our desperate youth who were dieing from coat hanger abortions.

The right to murder an innocent child should not be legal in ANY state.
Rape and incest are the only exceptions that I would allow, personally.
If you choose to have sex and not think of the possible consequences (birth control is not 100% effective, you know), you should be prepared to deal with them.

I support no state that takes away the rights of women. Women are not property, are more than able to make their own decisions regarding their lives. Are you willing to adopt.. ADOPT .. these children you are screaming to save? no, I didn't think so.
