Now Guy B has a gun. Should he use it to defend himself? is he justified? keep in mind he only has a split second to decide.

Yes. It would be self defense. Guy A is coming at him and Guy B is in fear of his life.

Two shots to center of mass and one to the head. Self defence and the attacker needs to be stopped cold. The intent of the attacker has been made clear. That is why one should become proficiant with any wepon carried. Three fast shots... it aint like the movies... one shot almost never stops an attacker coming at you in anger.

It wouldn't take me a split second to decide to shoot the guy in the leg or shoulder. Self defense. However, I wouldn't try to kill the guy unless it escalated.

If your life is at risk you can use your gun to defend yourself. That's law, BTW. And I think it's right.

Self-defense - I would say that he is justified (at least on this earth).
