THATS WHY CHICKENS WILL RULE THE WORLD!!!!

I'm not a pilot yet, I'm only 16. I do fly the p-51 in flight simulator 2002 though, and I know how good a fighter it is, and all the history behind it. I would definitely fly it if I had the chance, even without a license. I would steal it. I wouldn't care if the cops are waiting on the ground for me or if they send an f-16 after me. The ride would be worth it.

I would if I was checked out in the P-51. I got over 5000 hrs. flight time I would'nt just jump in one and go. I've been up in a P-51 and its no J-3 cub or a Cessna 152. It will bite you.

This is a trick question, right?? Oh hell yes !! Name one pilot who wouldnt give thier right arm or other body part to fly a Mustang !! Hell I would give my first born child for a few hours behind the stick of a Mustang.

Just kidding about my son, but not about other body parts :)

Oh Yeah, after lots of instruction. Without instruction and practice I doubt I would even manage takeoff, the torque would get me, and if I was quick on the rudder and avoided that trap, then I would overcompensate, lifting the tail and have a prop strike.

I would love to, but if I owned it, I wouldn't allow me to stand on the same ramp as it without another 3000 hours in my log book.

Ohh... a P-51, you say? I'd never, ever, ever ever ever pass up the chance to fly one. Not in a million years.

Come to think of it, there's one that flies out of my home airport.

Hmm....

Maybe I'll go fly one after all!

Tee hee hee.

Not only would I but I have and do. I fly an F model and would only trade it for a Spitfire. However the Stang is more fun than you could believe.. .it's the rolls of aviation.

Yeah it would be cool but only if I had a proper checkout. The Spitfire tells you that you are pushing it too hard with a buffet, the Mustang tells you with an unexpected snap-roll.
