hi if you have one and are a first year student, were you displeased that you only have a £500 overdraft? If you had more or less of an overdraft, were you expecting more than you got? Thanks for the help

£500 is enough, believe me. You really don't want more than that even in your final year, it's a good maximum and should only be used in case of an emergency anyway. You're a student, you can get a whopping great student loan, and if you need extra money for beer and fags then you can get a job!

A Student Loan covers fees, books and living expenses easily.

I don't like the Halifax anyway, I'd go with The Royal Bank of Scotland.

used to be in the Halifax but they pis*ed me off about something so closed my account and went elsewhere. anyway hate that Howard from the ads that keeps singing so i am glad they are not getting my money to pay him
