what is Love?
I know you could find a lot more defenitions on Love..
but please just put a word on my doubt...
is there is any difference between
I said to my mom.. "I love you mom"..
later i said to my sweetheart - "I love you sweetheart"
does the love here i mentioned .. do you think they are different?
or similar?

I didnt feel they are different.Thanks for the pain you have made to give me your thoughts.There are many things I agree with you..but i feel both the love are same..and there is just a same feeling but we express it differntly to different people. and love always remains the same.yes you are right in saying both my mom and my sweetheart are two entirly differnt persons. and there are many special reasons i have for why i love them..but Love is still the same? I cannot even say my feelings are different..since love itself is a feeling.

There similar The only differance would be the feeling that you have when you say it. Like you love your mom differently then you love you sweetheart

I think the two love statements are different.
You love your mom for all that she has done for you through the years. You love her because she is the one who gave you life and will dedicate her life to loving you and accepting you no matter what you do. This is the forever type of love you have for your family. They are your own flesh and blood. They will always be there to pick up the pieces when you stumble and fall.
You love your sweetheart for different reasons. You love him because he is special to you. You love him because of the things he does for you and how you feel when he is with you. You love him because he is your future. This love comes from the heart. It is not something you are born into like a family.
You cannot choose your family. You are born into it and will remain a part of it your entire life. You can choose your sweetheart. This allows you to look around for someone with the special characteristics that match your own like and dislikes. Sweethearts will come and go over the years. Marriage and divorce may happen in between. You may find romantic sweetheart love many times. Your family love will remain constant.

The love is the same, the relationship is different, so the emotions and affections run a bit different.
But, when you love you love.
You should not love anything in life; because life if about giving it all back and then it will hurt you when you loss it, perhaps too much. You should only appreciate people and things, some very much. This way when you loss it or them it won't hurt you as much.
Never love any thing; ONLY APPRECIATE!

For your family (mom) its a maternal love. For your
sweetheart- its affection. To me that is the difference.
It's a different level of love. You'l feel in your heart
which is which.

There is only one kind of Love it is called Agape' itcomes only from God .The only way to experience this Love is to have apersonal relationship with God. See Agape love is unconditional love it is pure is does not condem it does not judge it does not remeber past failures or hurts. Real love holds no records or wrongs and has no limitations to it except one that you recieve it openly without question. Nobody who doesn't have a relationship with God can say that they love. They use the worldly kind of love which has limitations that each persons set to fit their definition of love this is not real love.Again Isay unto you real love Agape love only comes from God.

Love has no conditions. It is unconditional. Whether you love Mom or Sweetheart or Whatever. It is real, it has substance. It is meaningful. It makes you happy, not sad. It makes you glad, not mad. It adds quality to your life, instead of dread. It makes it good to be alive, not dead.
