Iv wanted to be 88K in the Army but Iv been looking at 8111 in the Marines..

I can meet the Army requirments easily, I still have a couple years of High School but I can still meet the 88K requirments and the Army Physical Standards but about the Marines..
I cant seem to find any info on the Physical Requirments for the Marines..

In addition to the Physical Requirments you have to...

--"(1)Qualified as combat water survival, first class (CWS-1). "
--"(2) Completion of the Coxswain Skills Course (K-2E-8111) at EWTGPAC, EWTGLANT or III MEF SOTG. "
--"(3) Assigned as an additional MOS by formal schools after completion of the Coxswain Skills Course."
------------------------------------------------------
So is #1 & #2 part of AIT?
What is #3?
And what are the Basic Physical Requirments for the Marines?

It is MCO 6100.11

This is the basics. Being attached to a SOTG (do you even know what SOTG means?) unit will require you to be alot more fit but that all depends. You do know what an 8111 is right?
All you are is a boat driver, if even. You are taught by the Coast Guard how to drive a boat. Just join the Coast Guard!
You need to go thru and pass all the schools to get that MOS. Try figuring out with a little research before you post a question, All your questions are answered on the internet. If you want to be in the military start now figureing the answers out to your questions.
BE A LEADER! Not a FOLLOWER! Figure it out.

The physical standards are not hard at all. Just to get to boot camp you need to be able to do 3 pullups(dead hang), run 1.5 miles in 13:30 and do something like 46-50 crunches in 2:00.

If you cant do that now then workout hard for 1 month and you should get there easy.

You are what we refer to as a classic hot dog! You come up with all this silly jargon like you really know what you're talking about. The fact is, you're trying to impress someone with your limited experience and total lack of knowledge on a subject that is as mysterious to you as landing on the moon would be.

Son, you need to jump in and get your feet wet! You need to experience this thing for yourself. No more of this nonsense of feeding them bullsh it because anyone in the know, can see right thru it.

Come on back to mother earth and sign those papers, and some day, with a little luck and the grace of God, you will be a warrior, just like me!
