Hi
I felt like this. A friend suggested St John's Wort. It's a flowering plant that is effective for some people with mild depression.
One website says: "Patients suffering from depression received relief, increased appetite, more interest in life, greater self-esteem and restoration of normal sleeping patterns."
There are many places selling it online and on the high street but the prices vary wildly. You could try your local Holland and Barrett shop or search online.
Do not take St John's Wort if you are on the contraceptive pill as your pill will not work! Re-read the label on any other medication you're taking as it affects how quickly some drugs leave your body.
As a free side effect, some people find they get drunk quicker. Works for me!
I genuinely hope that does help you,
froggie

You ought to get aid for your melancholy and this time keep on with the medication. Your husband will most like believe relieved for those who get support as you will be a way more excellent character with much less crying and symptoms of despair. You did not say why your husband was working so many hours but because it feels like he has been doing this for a while is there anyway he can work much less hours for a whilst or take a vacation? Get the support you want on your depression so you can be more supportive for you husband and kids. Also you aren't a loser on account that you give up your schooling. You must be proud of your self for what you did be trained and achieve while you have been in college. Maybe when the children are older which you could consider education again when that you would be able to take your time or even take simply a few courses. For now get help and keep your head proud understanding that you've got discovered rather a lot just out of your time in institution.

I have had "waves of depression" all my life. That's how I've always described it, but haven't heard anyone else do so. sounds like you may not be happy with you home life. You need to make some changes. Also, exercise (even a walk) is the best quick fix for depression. Talk to a counselor; someone you trust and who will listen to you.

Seriously, I would talk with a doctor. Mood disorders often can be cyclical, meaning they come & go & sometimes parts of the day are effective in a pattern form from them. Oftentimes, the serotonin hormone in our brain is highly effected by lack of light & depression occurs. That's why folks in Oregon & Washington state often have special lights to help them deal with all of the rain & cloudiness they have to deal with.

move into a single bedroom apartment. work durning the day, then go home and play video games or watch movies by yourself. then go to bed and repeat the process.
i do this except i live with 2 roommates in a townhouse. i just come home and close myself off in my room. it is annoying though becuase they come to me and feed me this BS story all the time about how being by myself is so unhealthy and it isnt right and blah blah blah
people like us need to live alone. it is as simple as that.

Find something to keep your mind occupied when you are at home. I work on puzzle books, or read. Music really helps too. Also, talk to your doctor. You don't need to suffer through this.

You have not given enough info about your depression. For crying out loud!!! If you want to come here to get some psychological help for free, then you need to be more specific! We are not mind readers. All that aside, try heroin! LOL
