Did you have a baby within 1 month of having a miscarriage or medically induced labor? Was the baby ok?
My husband and I lost our baby 3 weeks ago. She had a severe birth defect and did not have a brain. We want more then anything to be pregnant again. I was 18 weeks pregnant at the time that labor was induced and really want another baby ASAP. Has anyone had a similiar situation? How did things turn out

I had a miscarriage before I had my first daughter. I got pregnant right after the miscarriage, within that first month. That was 20 years ago and she is just fine. In fact 18 months after the first my second daughter was born and healthy. So yes you can have another one right after and not have to worry about it. As your doctor might have told you though since your first had a birth defect you will need to have medical attention from the get go just to make sure things are ok. Wish you the best with your pregnancy

I had 3 miscarriages (7-8 weeks) and within a month of my 3rd one I got pregnant with my son. Although he was born almost 3 months early, he is now a completely healthy 2 year old. I got pregnant again in March and last month at 21 weeks my water broke due to Incompetent Cervix and we lost our baby girl. I was given a booster shot of the Ruebella Vaccine, and since it is a live vaccine I was told to not get pregnant for at least 3 months. My husband and I decided to wait 6 months before trying again, especially since my OB just started me on Zoloft for PPD, and depression due to the loss of our baby.

I lost a baby in 1999 and got preg again less than a month later. She is fine now, but she was born 2weeks early and was much smaller than my other two kids. The only thing you need to think about is whether your body is up to it or not. Carrying a child takes alot out of you, as does a miscarriage. Make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins and getting plenty of iron.
Good Luck!

Condolences. It's hard to loose a baby. You can definately get pregnant right away, however, you should make sure you are taking care of yourself. Take extra vitamins, good food, and sleep. Good luck
