if in fact that you do buy one, please make sure that there is an authorized dealer that can work on your vehicle in a reasonable mileage distance.... most BMW dealers do not work on these vehicles..this is i know for sure, i work at one that does not work on coopers but we sell used ones.

Mini Coopers give u more gas mileage than any other car in the market but...... parts are way expensive, though I have found many parts are the same used in Peugeot's and are much cheaper. I have a 2003, fully equipped salt and pepper, though I'm not that happy with it. It is a high maintenance car and very sensitive to weather conditions. My own opinion.
Good luck

One thing you should think about before you buy one... is the size of the thing. Its small. If you ever had a wreck, that thing will not protect you. They are cool looking but thats it.

I was rear ended in a Geo Tracker. NOT GOOD. Its been 5 yrs now, and my life is not the same. I live with chronic pain.

Id think about it if I were you.

But if you still want one, Id type in Used Mini Coopers

Look in www.autotrader.com in your area, but I feel that it is the same as with the Beetle, expensive.
