Can a chicken really cross the road?

yes, i used to live in a kampong back in the 70s where chickens are running around everywhere, some of them are smart enough to get to the other side of the road without any vehicle hitting them. But most stay clear of crossing the road, the most they do is to stay on the side of the road and avoiding any oncoming vehicles. Back then, the traffic is also much thinner than now, so the chickens who managed to cross the road probably will find it more difficult if they attempted it now. Anyway, chickens are no longer running around nowadays. Tell your son, yes, chickens do cross the road. :)

Yes, the chicken can cross a road. It would be best if you help it as they are not very smart animals and don't know to look both ways. Once you get the chicken safely to the other side, put it in a pen, or it will try to cross back!

Yes, but I've never seen one do it. I have (no kidding) honestly seen a guinea cross the road! He walked about a mile from the neighbors over to my guineas and chickens and other birds. Isn't that funny?! I just saw the bird, running down the road and squawking in that annoying manner that guineas squawk. Tell your son that, I bet he'll get a good laugh!

(No, the guinea wasn't hurt)
