My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 months. I know I'm ready to have sex with him now, but I want to wait until he's out of high school (he's a senior, I'm a college freshman...). There's honestly no rush, because we love each other and know it'll happen when the time is right. But I have to admit that as a virgin, there's obviously things I don't know (he's a virgin too). Did anyone else have a similar experience, or could I get some advice?

And just to clarify, I'm already on the pill for a completely unrelated reason, and we'd definitely use a condom as well...

Just in case someone flips about the amount of time we've been dating, we'd been very close for a year before that.

It will be a wonderful experience for you. Just don't think it's going to be as mindblowing as you see in the movies. It's a little akward at first but give it 2 or 3 more times. Good luck and have fun!

If you have to ask, wait. The first time is not the best and if it's a first for both of you it will be even worse. Every one is in a hurry to have sex. Believe me, once you lose your virginity you have the rest of your life to have sex. You abviously have held onto your virginity well past the time lots of girls do so why not wait until you know "he's the one".

The first time may be awkward, but keep trying.

I'm glad you're prepared, and on birth control and protecting yourself from STD's.

My other advice would be to wait until you're married. I'm not religious or anything, but I do know that it's amazing doing it with someoone you know you're going to spend the rest of your life with.

start asking what he likes, oops you both haven't gone there yet great for both of you !!! I'm sure you both have masturbated and thought of things you'd like to do to or for each other express them talk about it see what feels good . If it feels good you cant go wrong! go slow and enjoy make it last for hours . do some thing special like flower pedals on the bed and candles are always good.

Be safe and responsible.u will know what to do when it is time.if it is both of yours first time just remember that there are many more times to come.don't let your first time discourage you from sex in the future.you both will be very nervous.it gets better and better each time.

i think you should wait at least one year to make sure you both love each other deeply before you go that far
