Well the milk usually drops right when she starts to deliver and the first puppy should bring it down when it's born. Make sure to let 1st puppy nurse immediately after its born. If she starts leaking without having had any puppies then you need to sit with her and make sure she's able to deliver okay. But if you are really concerned buy some supplemental milk at pet store for puppies along with nursers to be on the safe side and keep receipt in case you don't need it. Make sure store will refund money if you don't use it, but I would do all that before it's too late. You don't want to leave puppies without milk after they are born for too long. We're having puppies too! 1 week or sooner. Good luck to you. (while she is delivering don't allow her to eat too many of the after births, they need maybe two of them but they need food to make milk and recoup from birthing with food)

If she has full breasts, she likely has milk in them. Make sure she's eating lots of high quality puppy food up until she is done nursing. If the puppies don't gain weight, cry all the time, when they are born, she may not have milk, but it's more likely that she does. You should take her to your vet anyway for a pre-whelp exam to make sure everything is ok. Is she in good physical condition? Still eating well? Not getting thin, etc?

That sometimes happenes with dogs. Mostly with first timers. But after birth she should be giving milk. If not ask your vet what milk you should be planning to giving the puppies just in case.

The production of milk will not come until after the births. The puppies nursing will stimulate the milk production Do not worry mother nature will take care of all.

I think if her milk isn't in by the time the pups are born you should take her to the vet. They will have good advise for you. But the pups will need to eat very soon after they are born, so you might need to look into getting some kind of formula for them. Ask the vet about that too.

You do nothing. Nature will take care of everything. Just like with a human, after the puppies are born the milk will be stimulated by the sucking of her ****.
Oh, be prepared and not shocked when she licks the puppies constantly and eats their poop. This is normal.

Do you have your milk right before you have a baby?
NO!
Don't worry, when the puppies start nursing, the milk will "LET DOWN" and mom will show them what to do!
