How can you ask an ex if they want to hang out without seeming needy or like youre trying to get back together? Theres a girl i used to date about 2 years ago, and we're still friends but we only see each other when our main group wants to hang out. Shes talkative towards me, and we still have inside jokes. I kind of like her but I don't want to make it seem like Im trying to get back with her. What can I do/say? (I don't have her number, and all our friends left for college already, but we have mysapce and facebook.)

I was best friends with my ex of five years we still did things together and with my daughter too she is his and I did favors for him and he did wahtever he could for me it was totally awesome to get along so well we got along better than when we were together but I had a boyfriend so he never tried anything my parents are split up and both have spouses and still their relationship stayed the same but not mine as soon as he got a girlfriend things fell apart now he hates me doesnt come around his daughter and we dont talk no more I miss it so much he tells me he hates me and hopes I die and yet I havent done anything to him she is totally controlling of him its been two months since my 4 year old has seen her father and his g/f is a mother of three children of a previous relationship she lost her kids because of drug charges got them back and abused them so bad she lost them again I dont want my daughter around that so I guess that could be part of it but good things like what we had dont really last I guess

Ask her if she would like to hang out sometime. You find her to be a cool person and since the both of you get-along then why not?

But you do want to get back together with her. Why did you break up in the first place?Think back to that...then ask yourself if you want to go there again.
