Alright- I've asked this to several women & none seem to be able to explain it.
Why is it that So many women who *claim* to be straight, are the same ones, who in the next sentence say they'd make out with Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie?
It would tend to lead one to believe that "depending on the woman & circumstance", just about All women would fool around w/ another.
Just in the "wiring"?
You don't see guys playing that game. I for one, have Zero desire to kiss/fool around w/ Brad Pitt or (enter flavor of the month beefcake here).
Wiring?

Ok, for this Very small & unscientific poll here, I can't say it's "just about all women". And I *have* heard before that often, it's just the women trying to get the guys to notice em.
Also, women have said that they feel that in many cases, it's our (current) pop culture that 'pressures' some hetero' women to appear sexually liberated by being w/ another woman.
An interesting point, but not sure how widespread that really is..
I can only speak for myself, but I'm quite comfortable w/ my sexuality as well, but don't feel a need to express it w/ another dude.

I'm not able to explain it either. I am straight. I wouldn't make out with ANY woman given the chance, and I've had several chances. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with wanting to, but I don't want to. So for me it's NOT depending on the woman &/or circumstance - I'm not interested in any women in that way.

These women are not completely gay if they are sexual stimulated by both sexes. It takes some a while to get an epiphany about their sexuality due to stigma and stereotypes. While I think women like Jennifer Aniston or Angelina are sexy ; The idea of having sex with them is repulsive to me.

I don't know why a straight woman would say that she'd make out with another woman. I wouldn't. Don't get me wrong, I notice a beautiful woman but not in a sexual way.
I think it's 'trendy' or something now- a good way albeit desperate way for girls to get attention

In a twenty year long study on arousal, almost all women were turned on by women and men, while men were very definitly gay or hetero, even so called bi men were almost totally gay.
So I'd say yeah its in the wiring, and I'm always looking for a nice lady, either to share with hubby or not.....

Just because they say they would doesn't mean that they really, really would. They just say it because they think Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are attractive women.

interesting question, and i've kind of wondered about it myself, because i'm actually in that category. i think maybe it's because these women have something we want. . . maybe we want to BE them more than we want to be WITH them, and we'd like to get as close to that as we can. . . just a thought. honestly, i never thought i could think of another woman in that way, but then you're just exposed to them over and over again and they're so sexy it kind of becomes appealing. i don't know, it's a mystery to me. . .

Women look at other women. Sometimes in admiration and sometimes in envy. We compare ourselves to them or we criticize them. But I can honestly say I don't have any desire or lustful thoughts about other women.

Because we ARE straight and comfortable with our sexuality. There is a such thing as guys that ARE straight but not comfortable with their sexuality. Besides...I would not make out with Jen or Angelina. Pam Anderson, yes

I would never make out or do anything else sexual with another woman, I don't care how famous she is. J.A. and A. J. are both nasty skanks anyway. Ewwwwwwww
