I do believe the best would be to have a mutual break-up this will allow to live your life when he is gone and he won't have to be thinking that you may be messing around when hes trying to stay alive. I think he will understand two months is nothing and if you still have feelingsa for him when he returns and the feeling is mutual then go for it this is only a suggestion its your call but I do believe he will be okay with this so neither of you have to worry about each other and what each other may be doing being so far apart from each other. This can also be a test for your feelings spending just a little time apart can real show you if strong chemistry is there or its just been a long fling.

no- 2 months is not long enough to really know a person on a level that requires that kind of commitment. wish him well, be his friend, keep your options open though. dont expect him to be tied down to you, and dont limit yourself either. you never know what may happen, you may get to know each other really well through long distance communication, and end up together... but i dont think you should set yourself up for what could be a very difficult commitment to keep.

NOPE!!! My bro' is an Army Ranger and he has been unfaithful to his wife even before he left for Iraq! His wife's a jerk but still, so is he. SO I gues they deserve each other. The lesson: DON'T MARRY YOUNG!

I would say let's agree to break up, see each when you are home on leaves and such. That way you are both free without quilt to seek new relationships.

Depends if he is just starting out, and going through basic training, or if he is going to active duty. I'm sure you are prolly pretty young, so I'd break it off.
