i have the same type of hair as you, and i discovered a great way to keep my side-bangs straight

first, make sure you cut them so that you can still tuck them behind your ear, just in case you don't like how they look..in fact, leaving them tucked in there looks just as great as letting them out

to get them straight without heat damage, here's what you do: wet just your bangs and comb them straight with your fingers or a brush. then, comb them to the side and either clip them there or sleep on them (sleeping on them really works for me, if you have the time). they should turn out straight and gorgeous. good luck!

Well, depends on your type of hair - straight, curly, thick, thin, etc. However, side bangs are absolutely in - my hair stylist just came back from a hair style/color convention and it's the way to go.

I just let my bangs grow and combed them to the side while they grew. It's actually simpler than short bangs to style/maintain. It's very "in" to have the side bangs either tucked behind your ear or let them "hang" straight over an eye. That's fun for an evening out but during the day it would make me crazy to have hair in my face, so I lightly curl back with a curling iron brush - I have lots of very fine baby like hair - so this works for me.

You could google up-to-date hair styles or some such title and see what's there - you could also purchase a hair styling magazine.

Just let them grow and do not trim until they are quite lengthy and all should be good.:)

Well it would look cute but would u be wiling ti straighten out your bangs all the time since ur hair is thick and wavy. It would look weird if theyre not straightened. U could just take a round brush and blow dry your bangs. If youre not willing to do that all the time then dont get them.

No don't get bangs, with an oval face and pretty hair like that just thin it out a little with some layers

I have side bangs. Do them to either right side or left. do not do to the middle. Bangs are cute. Don't do them too short.
