so let me get this straight: your friends boyfriend whom im assumeing she was engaged to was away. he emailed her while he was away telling her everything she wanted to hear and to get the plans going on the wedding. he comes home and announces hes seeing someone else and that hes leaving her?!?!
what an a*s*s hole!
i know your friend is probably heart broken. i understand completely. im so sorry this has happen to her. tell her that hes not worth it that hes obviously an SOB. tell her to be more angry then sad, and to be thankful he didn't leave her at the alter or even worse went through with it and ended up cheating on her.
all you can do is be there for her, be her shoulder to cry on and comfort her. keep reminding her what a jerk (in so many words) he is and how she deserves someone better. distract her by taking her out places or going away on a vacation with the money he sent her for the wedding. make sure you keep her away from anything wedding-ish or anything that might remind her of it. get her a huge chocolate sundae too lol chocolate always helps.
i hope she finds someone much more worth her. someone respectful and true, genuine and loving. keep her spirits up.
best of blessings.

Sorry to hear about your friend but it is a good thing he let her know this before the got married. These types of things takes time. Just be there for her to listen and comfort her.

The only thing that will make your friend feel better is time. You still need to be there for her, but it's going to take some time for her to be back to her old-self.

She needs to move on and NEVER look back...not even for a split second.
Tell your friend, by everything holy, DO NOT take a sh^t and step back in it.
When he comes back in her face, she needs to regard him with the same dismissiveness as she would a bothersome fly?

Better ask her to find another boy friend that os the only way because that guy is not having the stable mind.. he is changing his mind offen so he might not be a right choice to her..

Tell her that you will be there for her anyway you can! Express that you are sorry that she is hurting and be the best friend you can be. She will one day see just how lucky she is and will find someone better!

this is a difficult situation, no matter what you say. thank god she found out now, now five months after they were married. at least he was honest at this point. it hurts now, but she should count her blessings.
