Many years ago I had a patient who (with her family in agreement) decided she no longer wanted any treatment for her many illnesses. She did accept Morphine for pain control. Her mother and sisters (all nurses) were in the room all night. This pt's temp reached 108.3 several hours after midnight at which time she passed away. This temperature was recorded in her medical chart.

do you mean a living person or a brain dead head injury patient in an ICU? I've never seen 107 degrees F but have seen 105.6F, 107 isn't compatible with life!!

depends what you define human as...a person can have 108 or 109 degree fever but they will be brain dead and still kept barely alive by machines.
