Good question and maybe a great expression of a clear observation. Without you adding any comments or reasons for you using those words, you gave me nothing to train my big guns on so I will just honk the horn, wave and go on with a short comment. No I am not one of the average one hour sermon posters but I do like to explain my view ha ha.
I before did think it was kinda like a Sunday afternoon stroll in the park where you can enjoy the outdoors and all the daily activities in life. You can get beat up, mugged, shot, robber, called names . have mud put in your face, be sent to hell, or just congratulated, told to smile, told to have a good day, told that you are stupid, and most any other clear well thought out fact or condition in life.
One thing is almost for certain, you can always get free advice on how to be changed and made into a better person. That is what make this Q&A so great and a wonderful place to visit. Everyone is so considerate and only looking out for each others best interest. Thats why I do try to visit every day, I want to improve humankind and make them perfect like I am perfect ha ha ha.
See I am learning the good lessons here - Right!

To those that have an open mind it's an exchange of ideas. However, because most people are taught one way is right and everyone else is wrong, it ends up being like a drive by more times than not.

Well, where I work there are many drive by's . In a drive by, my heart rate goes up and I am wondering why I do this job. On Answers, the grouchy thing bores me and I wonder why I visit this site. So, I suppose there are certain parallels that exist to support the drive by idea.

All sides seem to be armed to the chin, so let the bullets fly and the bodies end where they may fall. Does anyone expect to convert anyone here? This area of stie has become an exercise in writing place only, all exchanges are meaningless, we already know what to expect in answers as soon as the question hits the boards...pointless waste of energy.

It's a little of both. You do have the pot shots but there are some seriously good questions that appear and a lot of equally good answers. One just has to hang in long enough to see the good ones.

It is a mixed blessing...I have laughed on many occasions until I cried, and other times I have left the computer to walk outside, sit under the stars, and cry from the emotional pain.

Drive by shooting for the most part, but I try to answer serious questions truthfully. And as for the hate-questions...well I just answer in my own little way...0:-D

Both really. I've gotten some really good answers from all kinds of people. I've also gotten some "drive - by" "You're going to hell"
