I don't get what the big deal is either, I think everyone should just let them be.
Most people are just against illegal immigration because they like to protest stuff and they're worried about immigrants not having to pay taxes.

The reason is because they work without having to be an American citizen, therefore they are not legally able/required to pay taxes/have rights/etc in the USA. What illegal immigrants mainly do is find a job in America, get their high-paying-wage compared to their low-asking economy from where they come from. (For example, Mexico or Canada, which both have lower Economic status than the USA)

Type in the high cost of illegal immigration, and get educated, also I heard on the news, if you have a high tech job, you better kiss it good by, they are bring over 2 million high tech workers from other countries, and people here will be out of work unless they want to work for slave wages. we don't need all of Mexico's poor they need to take care of their own people, Mexico is making out like a champ the rich keep their money they don't have to help their own people, and Mexico gets rid of their cast offs and they turn around and send money home to boost Mexico economy to the tune of over a billion a year, money that is for ever gone from our economy, How about 12 million poor Chinese, and 12 million poor Africans, just how many do you want to take in, every country has quotas, we have surpassed ours. Take your head out of the sand. These people are not being checked for diseases, criminals are coming through, they are not being stoped, now they have estimated about 250,000 child molesters form Mexico the have enter here illegally. How many more would you like here. We have enough of our won to worry about. not everybody comes to work, their are no checks and balances.

I think the main concern is that in some parts of the country they could overwhelm resources, such as public schools.
There aren't as many immigrants where I live, so it's not much of a problem.
If I grew up in a country with a bad economy and could sneak into a country with a good economy, I think I would do it.

No I don't agree. In fact, I think this is one of the most stupid questions I've seen.
Why is it bad for "illegal" immigrants to come to this country?
- It costs me money, personally. And I don't want to spend money on illegal immigrants who don't belong here in the first place. No one pays for my healthcare and food - why should I have to pay for them?
- Thousands of illegal immigrants swarm into our country on a daily basis and it is impossible to take each and every single one of them into custody to do a background check to see if these people are criminals or terrorrists. (You did hear about the 1,200 illegal immigrants from Mexico who were taken into custody because they were SEX OFFENDERS, right? They don't belong here in the first place.)
- They come here and expect us to mother them to their every need, they ask for spanish national anthems.
- They disrespect this country by refusing to learn English and the history of the United States.
Those are just a few reasons why I think it is a big deal. You want to have feelings for these criminals? go ahead. You can be the one to take the load off my back so I don't have to pay for them anymore.
Yeah, they have it bad in Mexico, something should be done. But why can't they try to do something themselves? Instead they come here and expect love and a free ride, and when we say we want to secure our borders to protect this country they protest and wave their pathetic towel excuse of a flag.
They should be kissing the feet of every American who unwillingly supports them and the family they had no chance of affording in the first place.
Doesn't ANYONE understand what the word "ILLEGAL" is? It means NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!!!!!! How would you like it if you found someone (you don't know) in your house demanding you pay for all their expenses because he's homeless? So does that mean we should take in every homless person because they have it rough? I THINK NOT.
And Hajgora or whatever you call yourself - You say it's racist? How is it racist to want to keep your country secure from terrorrists? Stop trying to play the race card you moron. You are aware that there are whites who illegally come here too right? However, 90% of the problem are MEXICANS, HONDURANS, and those saps south of the Rio Grande.
