So after we sit on our hands, stay nice and quiet, we vote and nothing is done, what are you going to do:
1) keep sitting on your hands, staying politely quiet, so as not to hurt their feelings, so you won't be called a bad name like a 'racist', a 'bigot', a 'nazi' or a 'xenophobe'?
2) watch while they systematically change everything the USA stands for (our flag, our anthem, our language, our laws, and more..)?
3) keep allowing more and more illegals to pour into the USA to suck up more tax paid services?
4) idly watch as they strip us true Americans of our rights?
5) do nothing as our leaders continue to pander to these criminals?
6) allow laws to be changed to make it legal to cross our borders undocumented? (since there are so MANY doing it anyway)..........or will you
7) protest loudly, boisterously, firmly, seriously your outrage to the leaders of your state IN PERSON at meetings so you WILL be heard?
8) FIGHT to keep our laws intact & enforced?
9) bravely take up arms?

well there's always 'picking up the phone' and calling your local police department if you see illegal aliens etc., I think a lot is going to depend on positive participation from various communities. There's 280 million people that live in our country legally, stands to reason that if even a fraction of that start making phone calls about the whole business, city councils etc will get wind of it and start figuring out good ways to bring an end to the whole mess.

I don't think our rights are in any danger from this. If you feel your rights are being infringed upon, again, pick up a phone and start dialing 'til you get answers.

One part of this whole mess is that we've had low poll turnouts for years, and so 'the government'(which is supposed to include The People) has been kind of going on, doing its' own thing as best they know how. But, on Big Issues like illegal immigration,
I think your vote DOES count, we still have representatives, it's their job to represent the voters that voted for em in the first place. So, by getting out and voting, you're approving/disapproving of the job they do. If nobody votes, they just do what they think is probably the most prudent thing.
I think a lot of the incumbents are going to be out of office next year, for dragging their feet on enforcement. I think they would have dragged their feet LESS had a majority of people spoken up before now. But, better late than never, people have other stuff to do, no time to think about all this because they're busy. But again, now it's starting to happen a little, because people ARE 'voting' with calls and letters. Keep it civil, keep it consistent, keep it PERsistent, and be specific in your grievances.

Let's see what happens in November. We are overwhelmingly on one side on this issue, however people tend to vote on a combination of issues, which lets politicians have 'freedom' to do what they know we don't like.

If November goes a certain way, though, we will have to come up with another strategy. To be honest, I think more in terms of a third party than protests, but yeah, I'd go to those too if needed.

I would guess that the average man who is against the illegal immigrant situation are regular hard-working people, perhaps not too involved in politics. But he does see the unfairness of it all. He is not the type to go out on rallies, protests, and such, as they seem to be the thing of the left. He seems to have given up hope when he looks on his representatives, knowing that they are not doing much.

I know, i agree, The mexicans sure know how to put up a fight, they get mass riots in the streets, while the middle class people know they don't want them coming here, but they all have to actually support their families and pay taxes, so they cant. But of course all the mexicans have plenty of time to take off work so they can rally, then it looks like White middleclassers just don't care if the mexicans show up, but its not true.

Not really. We are waiting for the November elections and passing referendums in states and cities against illegals. The feds aren't doing anything so we'll take charge.
