You probably deleted a registry key for iTunes. I always tell people if you don't know what you're doing, don't do it. You probably need to reinstall iTunes.

I cant understand why your computer will not do a system restore, but i did have a problem once, only because it was the very begining of the month and there was no restore points to restore to,in that month.are you checking for a virus?-theres some wierd viruses around that mess with your system. If you need an antivirus for free, just use the green (search for questions)bar at the top of the page and type in -free antivirus programs, you will then be able to check all the answers.Using thiis bar saves you using your points, and you can find just about anything for free, just by typing a question in there.-If you think you might have deleted something important-use free undelete to recover it-

And do a defragment of your hard drive now and again to gain the maximum space.

Have to be very picky about your reg software. I use registry mechanic which is pretty awesome.

You can try calling up the software you used and see if there's a 'go back' or 'restore the registry' feature. System restore works best if you use it immediately after the problem occurred (with a couple of days anyway).

You can try reinstalling your software. Try uninstalling the itunes software and reinstall. What does your error say?

if so u might be able to get going

first off backup your songs, i no its a pain in the *** but u don't want to risk losing ur songs.

next uninstall itunes
reinstall, that should work
