When I was in the Navy, seemed like anyone that got wrote-up automatically got sent to XOI, and the XO tossed out more than half the cases or recommended EMI or further counseling (psychology in a few cases)

J&C H; I guess your personnel said they did not have a Chief of LCPO, they likely said they had an E-7.

I guess the thing you are not taking into account is that the XO would base his decision on your Chief's and your CMC's recommendation. If you think the CPO was out of the loop... then you had NO CLUE as to what was goin on...... The Chiefs were the one who made sure the case didn't go to mast or to see the CO if it could be handled at a lower level (i.e. the XO).
CPOs are the backbone of the Navy!

well alot of time i think is LPO, if they don't say anything or wrote up nothing is bring up to the chain however tha'ts always some assh*)le that just like u, wrote u up just for about anything. Chief, well there's 2 type of chief one is alwasys around ontime etc.. and the otherone often show up later or get off hurry, u probably got that lazy chief.

Well first off, thanks for serving, second off, the chiefs messes (depending on your command and how inbred that particular command is [like mine that recommended admin sep for something I had no control over]), the chiefs either have alot of "my way or high way" or alot of men with coffee cups that can't think on their own. Like I said, just depends on where you are, either to many chiefs are to individual, or to many are brainwashed and think alike.

Typical lowlife, junior grade, piss and moan. Wait until you get to be a chief (God Forbid) then you answer.
