From my point of view, a lot of handsome men think looking good is enough to have it going for them, hence pride and an attitude is brought into the equation, while on the other hand, men who think they 'don't look' good know they have to put in some extra effort into their proposals. This extra effort most often makes the difference as they tend to be more humble, jovial e.t.c. Besides that, (this might shock you) it has been scientifically proven that beautiful women are attracted to 'not good looking' men by reason of body chemicals according to a documentary.

Now that's a shallow question if ever I heard one. I've been out with great looking guys who didn't do a thing for me. I've also had guys who could never be classed as good looking, and I've been told I'm attractive, and could I not do better. Well the answer is no, because not all good looking guys have a great sense of humour , are sweet and romantic, or are great in bed. But a non good looking guy can possess all of these qualities and believe me when I say, that then, looks don't matter in the least.

The reason is the person may lack self esteem. Therefore too afraid to approach a beautiful women or vice versa. The fear of being rejected stops them asking out someone nice. I say what the hell just do it.

Beauty is far more than looks. It is how the person is and how they make you feel. If someone make you laugh and make you happy you are going to want to be around them a lot and there sparks the interest and love. Not to mention love is a tough bond to break.

In truth, I agree with the majority of comments above. Its not about wanting a trophy, there's more to make people attractive than just looks.

Most girls that i dated, confesed that good looking men are usually dumb , boring, egotisticals & selfcentered.
Usually, they think that they don't have to give anything or offer anything nice coz their beauty should be enough.
Like wise with pretty girls too.
