Control panel says that no sound device is installed. This problem just started happening

rip it out, then put it back in and reinstall the drivers from the website or cd that came with it

Consult the Add/Remove section. If you can't re-install, then you or another user deleted something without a back-up.

examine the gadgets on your gadget with the help of watching the administration panel. determine which you have sound gadgets and that they are working without conflicts. attempt dealing with some help if required. Else touch a serive workers.
