You mean when I lost my job, it wasn't because of a demon? Then whose fault could it possibly be? Not mine.

Not all Christians think that EVERYTHING bad that happens is a demon. I tend to hold people accountable for their own actions. We create a lot of the messes we get ourselves into by not making sound decisions and not using wisdom.
Sure, I believe there are demons out that and that there are people who are truly harassed by them. I actually believe that most people have some sort of demon that badgers them from time to time (completely different from possessed.)
True possession is very rare and usually only occurs in 3rd world countries, although there have been some cases in the US and other industrialized countries. Most people are just harassed. If they continue in a certain sin, then I believe it allows a spirit to settle in certain parts of their bodies and may rear its ugly head when that person engages in that certain sin. Repentance is usually all it takes to cast out these spirits. If they still continue in the sin, the sin begins to grow and occasionally, the spirit will begin to control the persons' actions more and more.
If a pastor is yelling at a person, trying to get a spirit to come out, then he is obviously not trained in deliverance properly. A big show isn't needed to cast out a spirit. Yelling, name-calling, etc. is not needed--only the name of Jesus.

All Christians don't believe that. Bad things happen simply because they happen, it does not require the influence of a demon. If you think that, than you may need to take a closer look at your beliefs, and see whether are are based on accurate knowledge, or on superstition and spiritism.

Dear friend, I think you are very confused about christian exorcism, or definitely you haven't seen or heard of a real one.
To speak about this in a few words only, exorcism is not recommended to be attended (as audience) by (spiritual) unprepared people as they could be harmed. These acts are performed mostly in the monasteries, by the monk priests.

Same reason they attribute everything good to God. They're to weak to accept the fact that sh*t happens (good or bad) just because and you gotta push things in some direction or nothing happens. They can't take responsability for there own life whether for good or bad so they put the blame on the devil or god when really god just gave us life and the resourses to deal with it, and it's up to us to handle our business and not cop out like a bi*ch!

When someone has a relationship with the Lord, satan is going to attack them everyday of their life because of that. Satan is the reason why things go wrong. But through prayer every day, and asking the Lord to protect you and lead you, those attacks not only will be less, but Jesus will intercept them for you and shild you from them. I don't have anything to do with exorisms. That belief belongs to the catholics.

I don't know about staged exorcisms, but demons are real. Just look at the mentally ill.

There is certainly the distinct presence of deception and drama in some "churches".
