Maybe not an "answer" insofar as a direct answer to a direct question you might be asking, but a response and acknowledgement, YES!! I think that is God's way of letting you know He's with you and He hears you.

We don't all get the same type of feelings when praying, and sometimes we don't get anything immediate. And sometimes, when we do get something later, we don't realize that's what it is.

Sometimes I get a warm feeling all over, sometimes goosebumps, sometimes nothing. Depends. But I've been able to learn how to recognize God's hand in things that happen in my daily life. And no matter how big or small, I stop and thank Him for every thing (i.e. whether I find a dime on the ground, or find $100; it's all from Him).

Embrace that feeling... know that God is with you.... thank Him for the blessing of His acknowledgement. It's a precious gift!!!

If its a sweet emotion, I think that's a "yes" answer. If you feel troubled, then what you're praying for is wrong.

It is called the schekinah cloud of glory, It is the spirit of God coming into harmony, unison and one accord with your spirit. It is a beautiful thing. I don;t know so much about an "answer." but I believe that God gives us the means by which we solve our own issues in that He is the one intelligence that we can pray to and praise and thank and love and when we are in unison with that field of potentiality, that close to His understanding and the wisdom that is contained in the blue print of the universe that anything is possible. We chose to fall out of agreement with it and we bring about out own little catastrophes and troubles. Returning to the source as Dr. Dyer says brings peace to the spirit and calm rational to the mind.

I feel peace in my heart when I pray. Sometimes, I feel a conviction from the HOLY SPIRIT and I begin to cry tears of repentance.

personally, i do not believe so...

scientifically those 'sweet emotions' can be traced back to an imbalance of endorphines in your brain, which means they have the same source as joy over a won contest, or sexual arousal, and a lot of other kinds of good feelings.
if that imbalance is selfinduced, or maybe brougt about by god... or His Adversary... is for anyone to judge themselves.

I don't know what you would define as "sweet feelings". I have been brought to tears during prayer. I have felt pressure on my face and head during prayer or worship. My body has trembled during prayer or worship. I think they are all a presence of God.

We Baptists are told that it is the Holy Spirit being with you that makes you feel this way. Either way, take it for what it really is, a divine blessing. God bless

It's consolation, it's needed for "beginners" later God will remove these consolations so that you love Him without the sweet feelings, only for who He is.
