I'd keep living the way I am. Not very kind and helpful, but not bothering anyone either.

If I'd found out I was heading for Purgatory that would mean that I'd found out that god actually existed. As a long-time athiest, this would be a bit of a shock, so I'd spend the rest of my days doing some "hard-core good" primarily to try and change the previously imaginary god's designation of my final destination.

The Lord is the judge of all human kind. I believe in the Lord and live a life that should be pleasing to Him. If He told me I may not enter His kingdom, I would ask why and do what it takes to gain eternal life with Him in the time I have left.

Purgatory is an invention of Catholics and is not accepted by the Body of Christ as factual.

I'd keep living the way I already am, with emphasis on making others happy. But I'd also try and have a really great time!!;-)

i'd continue to help people here on earth. WHY? because Jesus gave us the TWO GREAT COMMANDMENTS to love God and neighbor. Doing simple or complex tasks for the needy, with a happy heart, containing NO resentment, will certainly show our love of neighbor and bring to life Christ's words, "when you do this for the least of my brothers, you do it for Me.'

I'm not going to purgatory. It is a myth.

I figured I'd be going straight to hell. I'll have to work on that. Damn this 3-day waiting period for handguns.
