I worship God and pray to him through Jesus as the mediator. He atoned for our sins and is worthy to go before God for us, that is why I always end by prayers in saying “in Jesus name amen”.

JESUS FULFILLED THE PROPHESIES OF THE MESSIAH.
Jesus Christ only lived 33 years, never went more than 30 miles from his home, never wrote a book, never was on tv, never made a cd or any multimedia source and YET
-- Jesus Christ has influenced the world more than any person;
-- Jesus Christ's existence separates history (ac or bc);
-- Jesus Christ has more books written about him than any person in history;
-- Jesus Christ is the Ruler of the largest religion in the world;
-- Jesus Christ had 11 apostles and numerous martyrs die excruciating deaths believing in the Messiah, the Son of God;
-- Jesus Christ as the promised messiah fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament. Just fulfilling 50 makes the odds of doing so 10X135 power, an astronomical number. No human being has ever fulfilled so many prophesies about them, not even Moses!
In short, Jesus Christ has accomplished things NO OTHER HUMAN BEING HAS DONE in the entire history of mankind. If anyone thinks Jesus Christ is JUST A GOOD TEACHER they are very unrealistic by making such a huge understatement.
We need to know how we are created in God's image and I think your question is a good one.
To understand this better chart it out or use a diagram of two triangles of equal proportions like the Star of David. This allows an easier understanding of the relationship between the Essence and Existence of a thing. The words following should be distinguished in the following categories: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. These three words encompass everything in the Universe and make up the CREATIVE PROCESS to help describe the Creator, creatures, and creation.
God is spirit. He cannot be seen. If you were to examine all the creatures, the CREATOR has made a pattern emerges: angels and demons are intellectual creatures without a body; plants and animals do not have an intellect but a body and mortal soul. IT IS ONLY LIVING, HUMAN, BEINGS, that have a MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Only human beings have all three. Now, living, human, being is the existence of man. Those words describe the essence of man's mind, body, and soul. The Body is living, the Mind makes us human and distinguishing us from animals, and our Soul makes us the being that we become (good or evil).
Now, even Muslims will agree Allah is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (ever present). These words describe the existence of God. So, what is the essence of God? I will hold off answering this question till the end.
Now, if you think about the existence of a person they have a triple existence: physical (body), mental (mind), and spiritual (eternal soul). In fact, whenever we create something it has all three of these parts. When we cook we have a recipe (in our mind), we gather all the raw ingredients, and we cook (don't burn it, ha ha) what it is we are making. Cooking has the physical, mental, and spiritual parts. Same with engineering or technology it has three parts: the blueprints (to convey an idea), the raw materials (physical), and the workmanship (spiritual). If something goes wrong investigators will look for a design flaw, material flaw, or faulty workmanship. THIS DEMONSTRATES CREATION HAS THREE PARTS LIKE THE CREATOR.
Now, in the Bible it says Jesus is the visible likeness of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) The ESSENCE OF GOD IS: Father (mental), Son (physical), Holy Ghost (spiritual). ONE TRUE GOD IN THREE JUST LIKE A PERSON. THREE PARTS ONE PERSON. When you are sick you send for a doctor; when you are mentally troubled, a psychiatrist; when spiritually seeking you seek out a holy person.

The Bible shows very clearly that there is only one God, and yet that there are three personal distinctions in His complex nature, traditionally referred to as "three Persons in the Godhead"—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each is distinct from the others but never acts independently. They are one in nature and purpose. This mystery is called the doctrine of the Trinity, though that term is not used in the Bible. The teaching, however, is present in seed form in the Old Testament and is revealed explicitly in the New Testament. Note passages such as Matthew 28:19; John 10:30, 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14.
Our finite minds cannot understand or explain this mystery of God, which is nevertheless a fact. We must accept the truths found in the Word of God by faith even though we ourselves cannot comprehend them fully; read Hebrews 11:1,3,6 and 1 Corinthians 2:5-10;14; 13:12. It is really not surprising that the infinite God should be complex in His nature beyond the ability of finite humans to comprehend! This doctrine is absolutely essential to New Testament Christianity. Theologians have pointed out that if it were not true, the Bible would be unreliable, Christ would not be divine, and His death on the cross would not atone for our sins, being merely the death of a martyr.

The trinity is God the father, God the Son and God the Holly Spirit..... Three in one.....
Think of water in its form of ice, liquid and vapor.... Its all water but in three different forms.....
We can believe that Jesus is God based on the miracle of the resurrection..... Jesus was given the authority from God the father to represent God's viewpoints and how we are to view Jesus.....
Jesus told us that the only way to God the father was through belief in him the Son....
The bible is amazing........ I am sure you have read the 23rd psalm as we were taught this as children... "The Lord is my Shepherd....."
Please try reading this as it will only take a few moments of your time.... Read the the 22 Psalm the one right before the famous 23 Psalm... It is truly amazing as it was a "prophetic psalm" written many, many, many years before the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ..... At the time this 22 psalm was written, the capital punishment of Crucifixion had not yet been invented! Yet the description found in the 22 psalm clearly describes prophetically the scenes of the Crucifixion.....
Give faith in Jesus Christ a chance.....He loves you and died for your sins and the sins of the whole world.. The Christian walk is truly amazing and the bible can hold answers for you and all your questions....

Jesus IS God! The trinity can not really be explained in human terms, but one method of attempting to do so is this: It's like
1 x 1 x 1=1. There are three ones, yet they are one "one", if you get that. God bless, and the resource below may help quite a bit as well!

Jesus hasn't trumped God. Jesus was the son of God. He was in the trinity- Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Whatever Jesus said were the direct words of God. Follow the words of Jesus. It can only lead you down the path to salvation. He was the son and was God. I know this may sound confusing but the Bible says it is true.

Jesus deserves our worship because He is the Son of God. God in the human form. You need to know that he came to fulfill prophecy. If you never read anything else read Isaiah 53. You will read the words of the prophet Isaiah describing the coming of the Messiah. This was written 200 years before Christ was born. How awesome!!

This is an example of the apostate state of modern Christendom. True religion as revealed by God to His living prophets has clarified this point. We do NOT worship Christ in the sense we worship the Father (and yes, they are two separate and distinct personages.) We worship the Father and ONLY the Father, in the NAME of the Son, by the power of the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. When modern so-called Christian religions are not led by revelation they drift from the truth as Christ taught it, but within the Lord's church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the truth of true worship has been revealed to the earth again and their is no confusion and no contradiction--as you correctly pointed out.

BOY, I was reading some of those answers,Holy Smoke people do have their own realities.
John Chapter 1:'In the begining was the Word (Jesus),and the Word was with God (the Father) and the word WAS God. He was in the beginning with God.All things were made through Him(Jesus), and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Collossians Chapter 1 it says:'For by Him(Jesus )were all things created....and He is before all things...He is the image of the invisible God.'
Phillipians 2..'(Jesus) who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God,but made himself of no reputation ,taking the form of a servant(man),and bacame obedient even to the death on the cross.'
See...Jesus always was God(Genesis 1:26 'Let us (Father,Son,Holy Spirit)make man in our image....
Think of God as tri-une 1x1x1=1 God in 3 persons..3 separate but one in unity.The cults try to say it is 1+1+1=3 separate Gods but that doesn't hold water. The universe ,height,depth width,one can't exist without the other but all are one.water ,steam,ice all separate but still the same.just some examples.
Jesus said in John 4:'God is spirit...'
God had to die therefore He had to come in the flesh...that was Jesus job and now because he loved us He is in that glorified flesh forever more,as we will be at the resurrection.

There all the same entity i believe. Look at genesis when God made man in his Image. Then from Adam he made Eve...Adam and Eve now together would be in the image of god. The father, Son and holy spirit i think complete each other, different aspects of one personality. I mean really the hard decisions are made by the Father, Christ does all the forgiving and everything that God does is through the holy spirit. Of course this is the Gospel according to me but when i read the Bible it seems to pan out that way
