You sit, stand around holding some drink and looking for someone to talk to in order to make empty and sometimes awkward conversations. Everyone is waiting for everyone else to do something. Or maybe these are the parties I keep going to over and over again.

I never really liked parties. I think I only ever went to one that was half decent. Go to clubs, pubs or find a hobby that allows you to meet people as it will be more fun :-)
